Accurate information matters when you are preparing for an outage, storm, vehicle problem or outdoor emergency. If you find a possible factual error in an article, please email contact@therealsurvivalists.com. You can also use our contact page.
Report a factual error
Include the article URL, the passage you believe is incorrect and a short explanation of the issue. When possible, share a supporting source from a directly responsible authority, such as an emergency-management agency, public health agency, weather service, transportation department or utility. A source publication or update date is helpful when information may have changed.
Flag safety-related concerns clearly
If an issue could affect safety—such as guidance about water, food, evacuation, severe weather, power outages or emergency communication—say so clearly in the subject line and explain the potential risk. Do not use email to request urgent emergency assistance; contact the appropriate local emergency service instead.
Specific feedback about unclear wording, broken links or information that may need a more current source is also welcome.
